Michael Strong Card of the Day - Technique Thursday

My technique for today is the "Baby-Wipe" technique.  First you take a baby wipe and fold it in half and then in half again.  Now it has a little more padding.  Then you take a couple of bottles (2 or 3) of re-inker (I used Stormy Sky and Tumbled Glass) and drip some drops onto the wipe.  You can make the drops random or in a pattern but make a spot large enough so you can put your stamp onto it.  Now use this new "ink pad" and stamp all over your paper!  I used a flower cut out from Mike's Busy-bee set so I could have tiny flowers all over.  After I was done stamping I used my colour spritzer and misted Tumbled Glass marker all over for a bit of a splattered look.

Then I used a Marianne designs creatable die called "Anja's Square" and cut out paper in Marina Mist and white.  The flowers are a Susan's Garden thinlet die called "Mini Daisy" and they are white with a Marina Mist center.  The butterflies, oval punches, pearls and sentiment are all Stampin Up!

I had to put a little something on the inside so here it is:

The finished card is 5.25" x 5.25".
