Early Espresso Embossed Puzzle Pieces

My latest adventure with the Embossed Puzzle Pieces technique from the Feb/March 2004 issue of Technique Junkies.

I used Early Espresso embossing powder on the puzzle piece and then stamped on a script stamp with copper ink.  For the background I stamped the tiny Gecko on a 4.5"x4.5" piece of Whisper White paper with Early Espresso ink.  Then I used my colour spritzer and an Early Espresso marker and made splatters all over.  I sponged the edges and attached to a slightly larger piece of Whisper White paper and then put on the base which was Early Espresso textured cardstock.  I added some metallic cord and then some burlap and a piece of Early Espresso tulle behind the puzzle piece.  The sentiment also has some copper cardstock behind it along with some Early Espresso textured cardstock punched out.

The finished card is 5.5"x5.5".

Stamps:  Michael Strong (Mini Creatures), Stampin Up! (Voila!)
